Does this look like your consumer unit? With the change in regulations these older style boards are light years behind the new boards in terms of electrical safety. The front cover was broken on this particular board which meant there was exposed live parts which would be an immediate fail on and Electrical installation condition report. Had a nice garden lighting job this week in Hellingly East Sussex. Upgraded the existing garage supply to a 5 way consumer unit and installed a 4 channel wise box leaving a couple of spare channels to add onto in the near future. The couple were a real pleasure to work with on this one completely understanding that some times jobs take longer than expected sometimes. Also nice to be working closer to home
