It’s been another busy week here at SLE Electrical Services, with our team covering Hailsham, Eastbourne and the wider East Sussex area carrying out everything from consumer unit upgrades and EICRs to emergency call-outs.

One of the highlights this week was replacing an older fuse board with a brand-new 18th Edition FuseBox consumer unit, complete with RCBO protection throughout and Type 2 Surge Protection. Modern consumer units provide improved fault protection, minimise disruption by isolating only the affected circuit during a fault, and offer greater protection for today’s electrical installations.

Alongside our consumer unit replacements, we’ve also been busy carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for landlords and homeowners. Regular inspections help identify wear and tear, damaged accessories, inadequate protection and potential safety issues before they become serious problems.

As always, we’ve also responded to a number of emergency call-outs, helping customers quickly restore power and safely diagnose electrical faults with minimal disruption.
